Consultation and Supervision

Kent Jarratt LCSW provides consultation and supervision for hypnotherapists and psychotherapists. In New York and New Jersey, his supervision can be applied toward the LCSW. He also has a specialty in eating disorders.

He currently supervises for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in New York City; the YMCA of Greater New York; the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia; and The Harvey Milk School.

Kent has conducted workshops at many agencies on both eating disorders and hypnotherapy. Other subjects covered include smoking cessation, preventing staff burnout, anxiety management, and stress reduction.

Recent workshop and speaking engagements have taken place at the following agencies and institutes: Caron Foundation, Smithers, Conifer Park, the Lesbian and Gay Community Services Center, the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and the National Institute of the Psychotherapies.

Training Opportunities

Kent has taught and supervised at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia, Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. For information about its three-year training program, visit the CSAB web site.
